How to Cite a Pinterest Post

Find something really cool on Pinterest? Learn how to make sure you are giving credit where credit is due.

To cite a Pinterest Post

  1. Find the original source when possible

  2. If not, cite the pin itself using: the creator/account name, pin title/description, "Pinterest," date (if available), and the URL

 

Format

Author/Account Name. "Title of Pin/Image" (or description). Pinterest, Date, URL.
